Nikola Tesla Fuelless Generator

A decade after Nikola Tesla obtained patents for his very successful AC devices, Tesla made a bold statement in 1890. Nikola shocked the world by announcing that he had created an alternative energy source that was capable of operating entirely on natural light. Since that very day, Tesla fuelless generators have become widely accepted as good alternative energy sources.

Ever since Nikola Tesla was a college student, he had proposed the idea of self-sustained electrical energy. Nikola Tesla's professors told him that it was an impossibility.

With the proper tools and techniques, people can harvest the sun's enormous photon emissions for a wide range of applications. Tesla realized that his previous inventions were incapable of extracting direct cosmic energy. For this reason Nikola Tesla turned to the turbine.

Tesla was inspired by Faraday, another famous inventor, for this invention. Tesla employed magnetic discs of a larger diameter then Faraday used. Next, Tesla subdivided the disc's surface. Each section of the disc featured curved spirals that ran from the middle to the disc's outer edge.

During an address commemorating the installation of his electrical generators at Niagara Falls , Nikola Tesla told his listeners:

We have to evolve means for obtaining energy from stores which are forever inexhaustible, to perfect methods which do not imply consumption and waste of any material whatever. I now feel sure that the realization of that idea is not far off. ...the possibilities of the development I refer to, namely, that of the operation of engines on any point of the earth by the energy of the medium...

In 1902, Tesla wrote to his friend and publisher Robert Underwood Johnson that he had already developed a device for using the energy of the surrounding medium to generate electricity. In the letter he stated that the design principles for this new type of generator were discussed in his June 1900 Century Magazine article on page 200, "particularly where I refer to novel facts."
